Jumping for JOY!
Today was P's last turn of the screw! As of Wednesday, Doc G gave us the news that the toe had lengthened 17mm. We decided to go ahead and lengthen it another 3mm for good measure -since we aren't really sure how long P's foot is going to end up being when she is done with growing. The second toe is now LONGER than the big toe by about 2mm in hopes that when she is finished growing, the second toe will be just slightly shorter and have a natural look to it. It has been strange these last 4 days trying to figure out just how long we wanted to grow the toe - never thought it would be our decision to make - nobody else we know has decided just how long they want their toes!

As you can see, after 5 weeks of being on crutches, she now has tremendous upper body strength along with a repertoire of silly things to do while on crutches.

Yea!!! End of the first stage. Good going girl.
I like your jump for joy. You'll have to keep that upper body strength to help with lifting and spinning your body in those ice skating jumps.
