Our D has a very odd tooth loss program. She will loose 6-8 teeth within a short time period and then goes years without any loss activity. Roughly 3 years ago, she lost all 8 front teeth. It was crazy how often the tooth fairy had to stop at our house. Now she is at it again - within the last month she has lost 4 teeth and 2 more are barely hanging in there. Let me re-phrase, two more with brackets are barely hanging in there. The orthodontist has decided not to wire those teeth up anymore, because of their unstable condition! It was the orthodontist that first mentioned that he believed that the Tooth Fairy pays more for teeth with brackets. I wonder if the Tooth Fairy will have any money left for retirement after D is done.

Does the Tooth Fairy Pay More for Teeth with Brackets on Them?

I would think that since there is a barnacle attached to the tooth that the Tooth Fairy would have more recycle time and cost; therefore, D would get less for this defective part.
Did you get more from the tooth fairy for the tooth you lost in front of the congregation when you were in youth choir? Just a memory that I had to mention!
Awesome memory - gave the young choir director a shock!
