When P was trying to decide how to decorate her room she looked to find an "inspiration piece". After much deliberation and solicitation of other's opinions, she choose the Vera Bradley Bali Gold fabric for inspiration. Loving the pinks and yellows that swirl around in the fabric P thought it would give her a relaxing yet fun color scheme for her bedroom. So with that in mind, P and her daddy painted her room in colors that would compliment the fabric. We then purchased 6 napkins from the Vera online store with the intention of using them as key design elements around her room. This past weekend P tackled her inhibitions AND my sewing machine and created toss pillows for her bed from the napkins. This is her here happily sewing away.

This is her not so happily ripping out stitches that had gone astray.

And here is the end result - two fun throw pillows and curtains. I took the 5th napkin and by cutting it in half was able to adorn the curtains for a little something extra.
We still have one more napkin available and too many ideas for that little piece of fabric!
