Preface - We started an intro to geology in Science, which is always a favorite topic of mine and which D really seemed to enjoy. This conversation occurred later on in the day after she had processed what she learned that morning.
D: Mommy, what are your favorite rocks?
Me: Lots! I really like rhodochrosite, kyanite, peridot, garnet and many others.
D: Well I like granite and lemonstone.
Me: What kind???
D: The granite and lemonstone we talked about.
Me: Oooohhhh - LIMEstone!
D: yeh limestone! (cute little smile - trying not to be too embarrassed)

That's my girl! I can sooooo relate. Geology...science, in general...is just not my thing. Got a friend lined up to help C with her upcoming dissections. Whew!
