Here We Go Again...
While on our relaxing cruise, we received notification that we are being relocated. We will be moving from old base housing, which they plan to demolish, to the brand new housing on the army fort just 10 minutes away. We greet this news with mixed emotions. First off, for the most part, this house has served us well for 3 1/2 years, and it will be sad to see it torn down. On the other hand, moving into a brand new BASE house, which is really rare, is rather tempting. But then lingering in the back of our minds (well perhaps the front of my mind!) is the fact that we will be moving this summer anyway, and this new house will only be our home for 4 short month. But as each of us are wrestling with this news, I am again amazed at how resilient our "military" children are. P, who does NOT greet change with open arms, was the first to grab a box and start the difficult task of packing up her most precious possessions. We are so proud of her that she is working through the challenges and setting the course.

I'm sorry y'all have to move and then move again. That really stinks. Having said that, I'm proud of P for having such a good attitude! Well done.
