Where should I start - I guess I will start by admitting that I am a procrastinator. I'm sure some of you know that about me. Right now there is about a million things I NEED to do in order to make it through this week - finalize plans for A's Captain promotion, pack our entire house in boxes, prep for a stampin' workshop I have booked for the day before we move. Yeah, I could be working on any one of those things, but.... instead I start a NEW project! It's called adding more rhinestones to P's skating costume in preparation for the competition she will be a part of in March. Again, I am a procrastinator, so I haven't rushed into the bling thing hastily. I have poured over Internet pictures of skating costumes, deliberated over what color rhinestones should be purchased, even stressed over which method I should use to adhere them - hot glue or regular glue. Gosh, do you think I have a problem or what? Anyway, right before the cruise, the rhinestones arrived and I have been itching to try them out. So this morning, instead of attacking my "to do" list, I decided to be crafty AND I am so tickled pink. I love being crafty, and sitting down gluing rhinestones to a costume actually reduced my blood pressure and dissolved my stress and once again I am smiling (which I wasn't yesterday!) So, below are some pics of what I have accomplished so far. Now, the costume isn't completed, oh no, I have a bazillion more rhinestone to adhere, but I just wanted to show the beginning look. P loves it and I guess that is all that really matters!
