One Happy Man

I snapped this picture of A on Friday, while he watched the 7th game of the Eastern semi-finals between the Philadelphia Flyers vs. the Boston Bruins. A is an avid hockey fan and has stood by his beloved Flyers through thick and thin. The Flyers won this game 2-1, advancing them to the Eastern Conference. This is one happy, happy man, all the way down to his toes! And to continue the story, on Sunday night the Flyers stomped the Canadiens, 6-0, in the opening game of the Eastern Conference. Yes, one happy, happy man!

A usually is sporting his Flyer's jersey; however, on Friday night we celebrated our 16th Anniversary. We have just come home from a dinner out, hence the polo shirt. Which is another very funny side note. We had heard of a great mom 'n pop southern cookin' place and decided to try it out (since we were without kids). When we walked into the hole in the wall restaurant, these two Alabama natives just stared and stared at A! A was entirely overdressed for this eating establishment. Cut off shirts and your favorite dusty work pants is what is standard attire! Very funny!!! None the less, we enjoyed steaks hot off the grill and FRIED mushrooms, FRIED okra, FRIED corn nuggets and gallons of sweet tea!! Good southern cookin' for sure!
