P attended the Alabama Science and Engineering Fair last week, this was the state competition that followed the regional fair at Auburn University. She had a very exciting and rewarding trip to the competition held in Huntsville, Alabama.She won FIRST place in Chemistry, Junior Division - for the WHOLE state of Alabama!!!! WOW!
She was also chosen for 5 special awards -
Sigma Xi Research Society - 1st place
The Boeing Company - 1st place in Chemistry, Junior Division
American Chemical Society - 1st place
Discovery Channel - Young Scientist Award
U.S. Army - Outstanding project - Junior Division
This Fair certainly was the Icing on the Cake - oh, and how sweet it was!
