Tonight was parent watch day and I was thoroughly excited to sit through P's ballet class. She took last year off from ballet, but due to the encouragement from her parents AND her ballet instructor (Mr. A) she started again in the Fall. Mr. A was rather relentless whenever he saw her saying "You need ballet to skate!" in his thick Russian accent. Here is Mr. A and P when he called her to the center to demonstrate positions of her arms.
P has improved in great strides this year and the following pic are to show off how much she has worked. Trust me - her positions are beautiful!
And to finish it off - my favorite - tendu to the side. I just love the way extended feet in ballet look - they are so beautiful!

P's dedication really shows - excellent form, shoulders, arms and hands, turnout. Good work, girl! Keep building that core. Hey, the tendu photo is worthy of a poster.
