Mama's helper

Last week, D and I had purchased material for her Halloween costume (to be revealed in a later post). Since then, she has been so excited to start making the costume - so much so that she would ask me everyday when I was going to cut out the fabric. So, yesterday I promised that she could help - and boy did she. She helped lay out the pattern on the fabric, helped pin, then cut out EVERY piece!!!! I spent the rest of today sewing and am happy to say that much progress has been made. I do need to do some adjusting still - tweek it to make it unique - but I am relieved that the costume came together rather well.
