D has been working long and hard on mastering her flute. She's been learning some higher notes on the scale and so haven't perfected much for a while. Here is a little taste of what she has been working on AND YES, that is the straight head joint. She has been practicing with it occasionally.

Wow, girl, you have really been working hard. The music was so smooth without any queaks and gulps of air. Hooray! Has your Mom been pulling your arms to make them that long now that you can play your flute without the curved head?
