P's room has been the difficult to put together, slowly morphing into what she has envisioned in her head. She had picked out this large dandelion vinyl wall applique from Stampin' Up! and wanted it on the Raspberry Fizz accent wall in her room. We finally got to this task. I love this pic, because you can see just how P rolls - she is definitely Managerial material, overseeing if A is getting the proper placement of each element!
This has also been a big week because D started flute lessons. She has wanted lessons for what seems an eternity and she received a coupon for lessons as a Christmas present. Her arms are long enough to reach the keys on the flute; however, the instructor felt that a curved head joint (as seen below) would better suit her now and then she can grow into a regular straight head joint. So her assignment this week is to make sound with just the head joint and she's doing great! .JPG)
And lastly, just had to share this cute nighttime moment. Ever since D was teeny tiny she has had a white duck as her side kick, which she named DuDuck. I think it is so cute that at 7 1/2 years old she still cuddles with her DuDuck at bedtime. He has so much personality that even though he looks squished, he is lovin' all the cuddlin'. Too precious.

Hey, thanks for the update. I love these pictures and stories. Makes me feel a lot closer than the miles we are separated. Love the dandilion. Don't know why she chose it but it gives me happy feelings of being in a field on a sunny day making wishes. So cool. And don't we all wish that we had a treasured friend like DuDuck who is always there no matter how much we "lay" on them.
