One of our most favorite things to do in Jersey is ride our bikes along the tow path of the Delaware & Raritan Canal. Today was such a beautiful day to enjoy this 9 mile ride.
So that we can all stay together, D rides along behind A on a half-wheeler. We play a game as we bike called leap frog - the one in the back of the pack passes on the left. When it is A & D's turn, she turns on the power and propels A right past us with D yelling "LEAP FROG" as loudly as she can!
We rode until we reached Washington Crossing Historic Park (where George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776) and then took a much needed rest and refuel.
